About me

Charles Aldao  nacido en Galicia, España  en 1981, es licenciado en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Vigo.  Trabaja en pintura, arte digital, diseño de producto y dirección creativa.

Con un interés visual y creativo desde una edad temprana decidió estudiar Bellas Artes en la Facultad de Pontevedra.
Aunque los últimos 10 años los ha dedicado a la dirección de arte y al diseño gráfico tanto en su estudio como para diferentes marcas de moda nunca ha dejado de lado su trabajo artístico-pictórico. 

Ha realizado exposiciones mostrando su trabajo a lo largo de estos años en diferentes instituciones, galerías de arte y museos.


STATEMENT

La búsqueda de la belleza es evidente en sus composiciones, un rico juego entre diálogos y silencios. Naturalezas peregrinas, curiosas atmósferas, misteriosas caracterizan sus trabajos. 

Charles Aldao is an artist born in Galicia, Spain 1981.
Graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Vigo, he works in painting, digital art, product design and creative direction.

With a visual and creative interest from an early age he decided to study Fine Arts at the Faculty of Pontevedra.
Although the last 10 years have been dedicated to art direction and graphic design both in her studio and for different fashion brands, she has never left aside her artistic-pictorial work. 

He has held exhibitions showing his work over the years in different institutions, art galleries and museums.


STATEMENT

The search for beauty is evident in his compositions, a rich interplay between dialogue and silence. Pilgrim natures, curious and mysterious atmospheres characterise his works. He tries to find the limits between good and bad, dark and light.
